This is essentially the sequel to The Mechanic (2011), a film about a cunning and agile assassin who can create perfect false crime scenes after committing his hits, making the murders look like unfortunate accidents. At the beginning of Mechanic: Resurrection, Arthur Bishop has “hung up his guns” and started a new life. However, criminal organizations still manage to track him down. They want the assassin to carry out three assassinations, disguising them all as accidents. Bishop flatly refuses and escapes. But a fateful encounter with the beautiful Gina (Jessica Alba) on a stunning island in Thailand is completely unplanned. This event forces Bishop to “return to the underworld,” temporarily giving in to the evildoers.
